The Kadena Education Office provides educational opportunities, academic guidance and counseling, tuition assistance for active-duty military members and their spouses, and educational testing services to military members, family members and Department of Defense civilians. Opportunities to begin and complete secondary certificates, as well as associate, baccalaureate and masters degrees are available at the various colleges and universities offering on-base programs.

Opportunities to complete teacher certification is an education option as well. Enlisted Air Force members can complete requirements for job-related certificates or associate of applied science degrees through the Community College of the Air Force. Additional services provided include general college information, college entrance and certification examinations, testing for college credit, enrollment in professional military education courses, career counseling, information on veterans benefits, and counseling on and application for commissioning programs. The center is in Bldg. 59, behind Marek Park and just up the street from the Olympic Shoppette.
