Due to the AF Portal network issue, all Kadena AB users are unable to access their LeaveWeb through the AF Portal.
In order to help our customers, the Customer Service office has posted instructions on how to fix the leaveweb hyperlink issue that some users may encounter.  All members requesting leave should go to the MPS Sharepoint website and under Announcements you will find instructions on how to access LeaveWeb.
If you have any questions, please call the Customer Service office at 634-4537. Thank you.

  Passport guidance (to include requirements)

As of 1 July 2011,
assignment RIPS have gone away.

Information found on the assignment RIP is located on vMPF.  The MPS Relocations Office will email a message with instructions and PPCs (if applicable) to personnel selected for an assignment.

Currently, the only personnel requiring RIPs are Unit Security Managers processing needed clearance requirements.  To meet the need, we will send a
monthly roster of personnel w/PPC codes to unit electronic correspondence boxes (ATTN: Security Manager) so Security Mgrs can process needed clearance requirements w/out requiring RIPs.

Additional improvements to the relocations process include updated forms and checklists to clarify and streamline the process for orders completion and
final out processing.  If you have any questions about our process improvements, please contact the MPS Superintendent MSgt Witak at DSN 634-9818
or anthony.witak@kadena.af.mil.

  Effective immediately, personnel
can schedule CAC appointments online using the link below.  This will be the
ONLY means of scheduling an appointment; the organizational email
'cacappointmentbox@kadena.af.mil'
will be not be monitored, customers will get an auto-response redirecting them to the following site.
http://appointments.cac.navy.mil/
appointment/ building.aspx?BuildingId=439

As a reminder, dependent ID cards are still walk-in only.  If you have a scheduled CAC appointment and would also like dependent ID cards, we will issue your CAC and provide you a DD Form 1172 that you can sign in our
presence enabling your dependents to receive their card(s) in your absence and allowing you to return to duty.

Attention inbound personnel: Household goods weight restrictions have
recently changed for Kadena Air Base. Please see your base TMO office for
