Give Parents a Break:
For spouses of active duty Air Force members who are deployed for 30 or more days. Offers 5 hours of free child care on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Child Care for Volunteers:
Reimbursed child care expenses in licensed Family Child Care Homes for volunteers engaged in supporting base programs for up to 20 hours.

Child Care for PCS:
20 hours of free child care, per child, in licensed Family Child Care Homes. Certificates valid within 60 days of PCS.

Bundles for Babies: 
For expectant mothers and their spouses. Held monthly. Although the class is open to all service branches, a free bundle of baby goodies is only offered to pregnant military spouses or members from the active duty AF, Army & Coast Guard.

Car Care Because We Care:
Spouses of active duty Air Force members who are deployed for 30 days or more may request vouchers for a free oil change and safety inspection.

Spouse Employment Programs:
Short-term training for spouses that focuses on teaching basic skills that will lead to employment opportunities.

Spouse Tuition Assistance Program: 
Due to Air Force reductions in funding and manpower, Base Education Centers will no longer provide administrative support of the Air Force Aid Society’s Spouse Tuition Assistance Program (STAP) for spouses at OCONUS location after July 2012. 

The Society will immediately expand eligibility requirements of the General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program to include spouses at overseas locations.  Please note that the Arnold Grant Program has an established application deadline of 9 Mar 2012 for AY 2012 – 2013, but due to this short notification, the Society will extend the application deadline to 30 Mar 2012 for OCONUS spouses only.
