Relocation Assistance

Moving can be difficult and stressful:  Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to make your move as stress free and simple as possible. Whether you just arrived in Okinawa or are about to depart, make sure the Airman and Family Readiness Center is your first stop.

Sponsorship Workshop: An opportunity for Sponsors to learn more about Kadena's current policies and procedures when sponsoring incoming personnel.  Representatives from base agencies involved in in-processing will be present to answer questions.  All first time sponsors must attend the Sponsorship Workshop.

e-Sponsorship Application & Training (eSAT): A great tool for sponsors!  Complete this 10 min CBT and you can print out a Certificate of Completion.  Tips on
how to make initial contact, assess sponsoree's needs, and access to the "Sponsorship Tool Kit" is also available.  A useful compliment to the A&FRC Sponsorship Workshop.  Go tohttp://apps.mhf.dod.mil/ESAT (CAC enabled website) to complete the training.

Newcomer Island Excursion: Discover a taste of Okinawa on this exciting tour on a luxury tour bus. You'll explore many wonderful points of interest that are unique to Okinawa while receiving information on roadways, other military installations, and culture.

Loan Locker: Visit the Kadena Loan Locker to borrow household items. Available items are dishes, microwaves, cookware and other household items to use while you are arriving or departing the island. We are located in Building 220. Please bring a copy of your PCS orders

Plan My Move: Gives you a chance to talk to representatives from base agencies that will be involved in your PCS move making your move as stress-free as possible.
Child Care for PCS: The Air Force Aid Society will provide up to 20 hours of child care in an on-base, licensed Family Child Care home. PCS orders are required.
