PET BOARDING
Karing Kennels offers dog and cat boarding for all SOFA
status members. Reservations can be made in person only, unless you
are PCSing on island, in which case you or your sponsor may make reservations.
We offer: 80 indoor/outdoor runs for dogs and 24 cat condos. Dogs are
given free playtime two times daily in our grassy fenced-in areas.
Owners need to provide the following
the day of check-in:
• The
last printout from the Veterinary
clinic showing that their pet is current
on all Rabies and Distemper shots. Dogs must also have a current Kennel Cough
vaccination. This means it must have been done at least 3 days prior to boarding
and not more than 6 months.
• Owners
will provide enough food and medications
for the pets' length of stay.
• All
pets must be on a Flea and Tick preventative
before they are boarded.
• Karing
Kennels will supply food bowls and
bedding. Do not bring personal items
such as leashes, collars, blankets, or anything you might want back when your
pet leaves.
• Please provide an emergency
contact person, in the event the
kennel is unable to continue boarding your pet for any reason. This person will
be able to remove the pet from Karing Kennels and is allowed to visit the pet
while in boarding. Also leave a stateside number or e-mail address.
Grooming Rates Before grooming and/or boarding dogs need to be current on rabies, distemper and kennel cough. Cats need to be current on rabies and distemper.

*** Flea and Tick dip can only be done if the pet does not have any matts, the solution has to be apllied and drip dry only! An additional charge of $20.00 will be added to your total grooming price if you choose to get a flea/tick dip/bath along with regular grooming. All grooming animals will be brushed out, nails trimmed, ears cleaned and fur cut to owners specifications. Animals who are scheduled for a bath will only get a bath, nails trimmed, and ears cleaned.
