Lunch at “The British Wine & Tea Shop”
Indulge yourself in this month’s lunch option, where we introduce hard to find or new local eateries. Bring your appetite because this month we will visit “The British Wine & Tea Shop”, an eccentric British Restaurant off the beaten path located in the countryside where you will choose your lunch straight from the menu. Please bring yen for lunch.  This will be an unguided tour.

February Tours

Whale Watching Tour
Once a year whales travel to the warm waters off of Okinawa to mate. Join us on this half-day adventure to search for these beautiful mammals. Please don’t forget to bring sunscreen, a raincoat, camera, and snacks. For safety reasons, children must be at least 4 years old to board the boat. Tours subject to cancellation based on sea conditions.

Annual Event
Expo International Orchid Festival 
This tour takes you to Expo Park to see the many beautiful species of flowers at the Annual Expo Flower Festival. Entrance fee to the Tropical Dream Center is included but you’ll want to bring yen for lunch and purchases or pack a lunch.

Nakijin Cherry Blossom Illumination Festival
Come visit Nakijin Castle as they light up the beautiful cherry blossoms for this unique yearly festival.  The Nakijin Castle also provides a spectacular back drop for the special stage performances of traditional song and dance. Don’t forget to bring your camera. Baby carriers are reccommended for the climb.

Shuri Castle & Shikina-En - Welcome to Okinawa

Battle of Okinawa

Butterfly Park - Tour 4 Tots
Enjoy a fun-filled time at Butterfly Park where you will have a unique opportunity to see hundreds of butterflies in a tropical environment. Explore the North - Welcome to Okinawa
Visit some of the most popular sites in Northern Okinawa such as Nakijin Castle Ruins, Orion Beer Brewery and Ryukyu Glass factory where you can make your own glass. Kiyuna Farm Tour  - Tour 4 Tots
Come and experience authentic farm life on Okinawa. We will visit a local farmer in Ogimi Village where you can show your children a variety of farm animals. You will get a chance to milk a cow and learn and participate in the butter making process. You will even get to sample the butter you make. This is a short tour so feel free to bring snacks. Bullfighting & Eisa in Uruma
Uruma city is hosting a Bullfight and Eisa event. You will have a chance to see a traditional Okinawan Bullfight. Bullfighting, called “Togyu” in Japanese, has been a popular part of the Ryukyu Islands History since the 17th century. See what it takes to be crowned the “Yokozuna”. You will also be able to enjoy entertainment with Eisa dancers. Please feel free to bring a mat or cushion to sit on, food, drinks and yen for purchases.
